Scribblings: Trump’s Appeal

December 22, 2015 Trump’s appeal is his willingness to say what others have been thinking but for various reasons, dared not say it out loud. George Wallace’s appeal was his willingness to say what others were thinking–segregation now, segregation forever. McCarthy’s appeal was his willingness to say what others were thinking–the government was infiltrated by communists. Hitler was successful because he was willing to say what others were thinking and to act on those thoughts–Jews, Slavs, and others, are mongrelizing the superior races.
